Cookie Policy

Last Updated: 27 October 2025

At Squadron Technologies Ltd ("we," "us," "our"), we are committed to maintaining the privacy and protection of your data. This Cookie Policy explains how we use cookies and other tracking technologies on our MarketAlpha.ai websites and the MarketAlpha platform ("Website" and "Platform"), and how you can control your choices.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when you visit a website. They help operate the site, keep you signed in securely, remember preferences, and—if you consent—let us understand how our sites are used.

Cookies are classified as follows:
  • pointSession Cookies: Deleted when you close your browser.
  • pointPersistent Cookies: Remain for a defined period to remember settings or improve performance.
  • pointFirst-Party Cookies: Set by MarketAlpha.ai.
  • pointThird-Party Cookies: Set by trusted providers we use for analytics (see below).

2. Types of сookies we use

We use the following categories of cookies across our sites:

2.1. Essential сookies

These are required only on the MarketAlpha platform to provide the service you request (secure sign-in, session continuity, fraud prevention). We do not use essential cookies on the public marketing site, other than a preference/receipt cookie that records your consent choice. If you Reject All, you can still browse our public pages, but you will not be able to sign in to or use the platform.

  • pointAuthentication/session and security (e.g., session token, CSRF protection).
  • pointBasic platform preferences that ensure functionality (e.g., language, region).
2.2. Analytics сookies

With your consent, we use Google Analytics (GA4) and Mouseflow to understand usage and improve reliability, performance, and UX. These cookies are not essential and are disabled unless you select “Accept All.”

  • pointExamples of data: pages visited, time on page, device/browser info, interactions, crash/error events.
  • pointControls: use the “Cookie Preferences” in our footer to switch to “Essential Only” or “Reject All.”

4. How we use cookies

We use cookies to operate the platform securely, remember preferences, prevent abuse, and—if you consent—measure usage to improve stability and features.

  • pointImproving Website and Platform: diagnose issues, measure load, and enhance UX.
  • pointSecurity and Fraud Prevention: protect accounts and ensure platform integrity.
  • pointPerformance Analysis: aggregate, pseudonymous analytics (only if you consent).

5. Third-party tracking technologies

We use Google Analytics (GA4) and Mouseflow. When consent is denied, we honor that choice using Google Consent Mode and our own blocking logic, so analytics scripts do not set or read cookies. When granted, these providers process pseudonymous usage data under their terms: Google Privacy, GA Terms, Mouseflow Privacy.

We do not use these tools for advertising, remarketing, or cross-site behavioral targeting, and we do not combine analytics data with information that identifies you.

If you interact with embedded third-party content (for example, videos or maps), those providers may set their own cookies; these are outside our control and governed by the provider’s policies.

6. Data protection and privacy

Analytics data is pseudonymous and aggregated. It may include device type, browser, approximate location (from IP), pages visited, time on page, and interactions. Platform essential cookies store only what is needed to authenticate you and keep your session secure. See our Privacy Policy for more about how we handle personal data.

Children: our services are intended for users aged 18+ and we do not knowingly place non-essential cookies to profile children.

7. Lawful bases and consent scope

  • pointEssential (platform) cookies: necessary to perform the contract with you (provide the platform) and for our legitimate interests in security and fraud prevention.
  • pointAnalytics cookies: your consent (EU/UK ePrivacy/GDPR). You can withdraw at any time via “Cookie Preferences.”
  • pointReceipt & preference: we store a small, pseudonymous consent record (including a receipt token and pseudonymised IP prefix) for up to 6 months to demonstrate your choice for compliance and transparency.

8. International transfers

Analytics providers may process data in the EEA, UK, and the United States. Where applicable, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and similar safeguards.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing; to portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. See our Privacy Policy for details and how to exercise your rights.
