Cookie Policy
Last Updated: 27 October 2025At Squadron Technologies Ltd ("we," "us," "our"), we are committed to maintaining the privacy and protection of your data. This Cookie Policy explains how we use cookies and other tracking technologies on our MarketAlpha.ai websites and the MarketAlpha platform ("Website" and "Platform"), and how you can control your choices.
2. Types of cookies we use
We use the following categories of cookies across our sites:
2.1. Essential cookies
These are required only on the MarketAlpha platform to provide the service you request (secure sign-in, session continuity, fraud prevention). We do not use essential cookies on the public marketing site, other than a preference/receipt cookie that records your consent choice. If you Reject All, you can still browse our public pages, but you will not be able to sign in to or use the platform.
Authentication/session and security (e.g., session token, CSRF protection).
Basic platform preferences that ensure functionality (e.g., language, region).
2.2. Analytics cookies
With your consent, we use Google Analytics (GA4) and Mouseflow to understand usage and improve reliability, performance, and UX. These cookies are not essential and are disabled unless you select “Accept All.”
Examples of data: pages visited, time on page, device/browser info, interactions, crash/error events.
Controls: use the “Cookie Settings” in our footer to switch to “Essential” or “Reject All.”
2.3. Cookies we set
Preference & receipt (first-party, public site): cookieconsent_status (stores your choice; 6 months), cookieconsent_meta (downloadable consent receipt; 6 months), cookieconsent_id (random token to group updates; 6 months). All are first-party and used only for consent management.
Platform essential (first-party, platform only): session/authentication and CSRF cookies (names may vary; session or short retention). Required for sign-in and security.
Google Analytics (third-party, if consented): _ga (up to 2 years), _ga_* (up to 2 years), _gid (24 hours),_gcl_*/_gac_* (around 90 days), AMP_TOKEN (up to 1 year). Cookie names and lifetimes can vary by GA features enabled; not all listed cookies will be set.
Mouseflow (third-party, if consented): mf_user (approx. 90 days) and session cookies (mf_*) that expire on session end.
Notes: Cookie names and lifetimes may change as we improve the service; we will keep this table current. The consent-receipt cookie stores only a random token and timestamp and is not used to track browsing or to build profiles. Preference/receipt cookies apply to marketalpha.ai and its sub-domains only.
Consent record (server-side): When you make or change a cookie choice, we create a server-side record to demonstrate consent. This record stores your consent receipt ID, choice (Reject, Essential, or Accept All), banner and policy versions, MarketAlpha site, whether the small or main box was used, browser/OS, derived country, and a pseudonymised IP network prefix. We keep this for 6 months and do not use it for profiling or advertising. See our Privacy Policy for lawful basis, retention and your rights.
3. Managing your cookie preferences
You can manage your preferences at any time using the “Cookie Settings” link in our footer. Selecting “Essential” disables analytics; selecting “Reject All” stores only your preference and receipt cookies and may prevent platform sign-in.
3.1. Browser settings
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Disabling essential platform cookies will prevent secure sign-in.

3.2. Cookie consent tool
On first visit you can accept or manage cookies. You may change your choice at any time in the footer. Your choice is stored for 6 months and will be re-asked whenever this policy or our vendors change materially, or after 6 months, whichever comes first. Your selection applies across marketalpha.ai and its subdomains.
4. How we use cookies
We use cookies to operate the platform securely, remember preferences, prevent abuse, and—if you consent—measure usage to improve stability and features.
For a copy of your current cookie choice, download your consent receipt. (No receipt yet—set a preference first.)
Improving Website and Platform: diagnose issues, measure load, and enhance UX.
Security and Fraud Prevention: protect accounts and ensure platform integrity.
Performance Analysis: aggregate, pseudonymous analytics (only if you consent).
5. Third-party tracking technologies
We use Google Analytics (GA4) and Mouseflow. When consent is denied, we honor that choice using Google Consent Mode and our own blocking/unloading logic; when you choose Essential or Reject All, we prevent Google Analytics and Mouseflow from loading (no cookies and no requests are sent). When granted, these providers process pseudonymous usage data under their terms: Google Privacy, GA Terms, Mouseflow Privacy.
We do not use these tools for advertising, remarketing, or cross-site behavioral targeting, and we do not combine analytics data with information that identifies you.
If you interact with embedded third-party content (for example, videos or maps), those providers may set their own cookies; these are outside our control and governed by the provider’s policies.
6. Data protection and privacy
Analytics data is pseudonymous and aggregated. It may include device type, browser, approximate location (from IP), pages visited, time on page, and interactions. Platform essential cookies store only what is needed to authenticate you and keep your session secure. See our Privacy Policy for more about how we handle personal data.
Children: our services are intended for users aged 18+ and we do not knowingly place non-essential cookies to profile children.
7. Lawful bases and consent scope
Essential (platform) cookies: necessary to perform the contract with you (provide the platform) and for our legitimate interests in security and fraud prevention.
Analytics cookies: your consent (EU/UK ePrivacy/GDPR). You can withdraw at any time via “Cookie Settings.”
Receipt & preference: we store a small, pseudonymous consent record (including a receipt token and pseudonymised IP prefix) for up to 6 months to demonstrate your choice for compliance and transparency.
8. International transfers
Analytics providers may process data in the EEA, UK, and the United States. Where applicable, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and similar safeguards.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing; to portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. See our Privacy Policy for details and how to exercise your rights.
10. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in law or our practices. When significant changes occur, we will post a notice on this page.
